Get ready for a high energy, hands-on adventure where curiosity leads the way. This two-hour STEAM Discovery Party invites young explorers to dive into magical experiments, creative building challenges, and playful problem-solving. Kids will uncover hidden treasures, make things that fly, and create art that moves, all while learning through doing, testing, and a little joyful mess. 
Hosted by the inventive minds at Digital Dreamers, this experience is designed to spark imagination and confidence. Every child heads home with a collection of their own handmade creations to keep the discovery going long after the party ends.

Sushi, Ramen, Katsu, and Kitchen Confidence  

Step into the kitchen for a hands-on culinary adventure led by Chef Patrick of Shackford’s Kitchen, the creative force behind Shackford’s Kitchen and a familiar, friendly face at Blue Oak School. Designed especially for kids, this Japanese cooking class invites young chefs to learn techniques, flavors, and skills while having a whole lot of fun. From rolling sushi to slurping ramen and mastering crispy katsu, students will cook, taste, and build confidence along the way.  

Package includes: 
● Hands-on Japanese cooking class led by Chef Patrick. 
● Instruction in preparing sushi, ramen, katsu, and more. 
● Age-appropriate techniques and plenty of time to cook and taste. 
● Hosted in Shackford’s Kitchen at Blue Oak School.

Create, Explore, and Get Messy in the Best Way  

Young artists are invited to spend a creative day immersed in color, texture, and imagination at the Kokko Art Barn. Led by your favorite lower school Spanish teacher and blossoming artist, Raúl Pimentel and professional artist Rachel Kokko, this hands-on art camp offers thoughtful instruction, playful exploration, and plenty of room for self-expression. Working alongside two masters, students will experiment with materials, techniques, and ideas in an inspiring studio setting designed to spark confidence and creativity.  

Package includes: 
● Guided art camp led by Raúl Pimentel and Rachel Kokko. 
● Hands-on instruction with multiple art materials and techniques. 
● Creative exploration in the Kokko Art Barn studio. 
● Original artwork for each student to take home.

Bake, Decorate, and Take Home the Sweet Stuff 

Middle schoolers are invited into the kitchen for a hands-on cupcake-making and decorating class led by the one and only Berenize. An experienced baking teacher with a booming cake business and a beloved fourth grade teacher at Blue Oak School, Berenize brings equal parts skill, patience, and fun to this creative culinary experience. Kids will learn baking basics, decorating techniques, and have plenty of time to personalize their cupcakes before proudly taking their sweet creations home.

Package includes: 
● Cupcake baking and decorating class led by Berenize. 
● Hands-on instruction in baking, frosting, and decorating techniques. 
● Time to create and customize cupcakes from start to finish. 
● Hosted in Shackford’s Kitchen at Blue Oak School.

FITT tennis pros invite young players to hit the courts for a joy-filled tennis experience designed to build confidence, coordination, and a lifelong love of the game. With playful drills, age-appropriate instruction, and plenty of movement, kids will rally, laugh, and learn in a supportive, high energy setting. Whether it’s a first swing or a growing rally, this clinic keeps things fun and encouraging for every player.  

Package includes: 
● One-hour tennis clinic led by FITT pros. 
● Instruction and games for students in grades TK through eight, grouped by age and skill level. 
● Playful drills, tennis games, and friendly rallies. 
● Racquets available if needed with advance coordination with host. 
● Snacks and light refreshments for all participants.

Grab your slap bracelets and get ready to rewind. This joyful throwback playdate brings all the best 90s vibes to a carefree afternoon designed for our youngest Blue Oak kids. Hosted by Blue Oak parents Rachel Kokko and Ilona Rosson, the fun unfolds with classic backyard games, hands-on activities, and plenty of room to move, create, and laugh. Think bright colors, old-school play, and simple joys that feel timeless.  

Package includes: 
● A 90s-themed playdate at a private Napa residence. 
● Retro games and activities, including jump rope, Cat’s cradle, velcro ball, Skip It, Hacky Sack, badminton, hopscotch, and horseshoes. 
● Hula hoop-making workshop.  
● Hands-on organic pop tart-making and other kid-friendly treats.

Get ready for an epic day of action and adventure built for big energy and bold teamwork. A group of Blue Oak kids will head out together for a private airsoft experience at Playland 707, the Bay Area’s premier outdoor airsoft field. The fun starts the moment they board the bus at Blue Oak School, setting the tone for a full day of friendly competition, strategy, and unforgettable memories. Once on site, players will rotate through mission-based games on dynamic outdoor courses filled with bunkers, towers, and obstacles, all led by experienced referees. Whether it’s a first time trying airsoft or a kid who already loves the game, this fully supervised experience is designed to be safe, exciting, and confidence-building.
